Lakemont & Viera Contract Replacement of Eaton Electrical Cabinets

SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is issuing this notice as a means of conducting market research to identify establishments primarily engaged in providing, removing, and installing electrical cabinets and Eaton switchboards.

The Orlando VA HealthCare System (VAHCS) is seeking a one-time service replace the Eaton rusted electrical switchboards at the following locations:

Lakemont Campus at 2500 S Lakemont Ave, Raymond Street, Orlando, FL 32814

•Replace three (3) electric rusted cabinets with new, durable, outdoor-rated electrical cabinets.

Viera Campus at 2900 Veterans Way, Viera FL 32940

•Replace two (2) electric rusted cabinets with new, durable, outdoor-rated electrical cabinets.

The Contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary for the removal and replacement of the electrical panels. This includes disposal of the rusted panels and the extension of the overhang.

The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The size standard is $19,000,000.00.
