The Minnesota State Patrol (“MSP”), a division of the Department of Public Safety (“DPS”), is requesting proposals from Responders that can provide presenters who will work to conduct a customized wellness seminar focused on law enforcement organizational stressors, work performance, family and home life stressors, how to be a leader despite challenges, overcoming the challenges that come with law enforcement, how to mitigate these stressors, and any other programs that have shown success in related areas. Attendees will include sworn MSP incumbents.
A total of two (2) seminar dates are currently planned. Two (2) four-hour sessions on Monday, February 23 at the Blaine Sports Complex and another two (2) four-hour sessions on Tuesday, February 24 at the Grandview Lodge in Nisswa. The identified dates are subject to change by MSP, should scheduling impacts occur due to inclement weather.
The awarded Contractor will provide any applicable attendee handouts and materials as required at no additional cost to the State or attendee. The State will provide the training venues and make available to the Contractor ancillary hardware or items in its possession reasonably supportive to the Contractor’s delivery of its presentations (i.e., audio-visual equipment, whiteboard).
