Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to enter into a contract or purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest cost to provide: disassembly and removal of existing t-post, barbed wire, and mesh wire fencing, and then constructing a new 2,700 foot long T-post and mesh wire fence along the same line in the Wildcat Wildlife Management Area in Wasatch County. Quotes should be submitted on a per-foot basis. Per-foot and total bid prices will include all mobilization and operation costs; there will be no fuel surcharges or adjustments negotiated.
There is no mandatory site visit, however, due to the nature of the topography and geology of the project area, potential bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to inspect the conditions that may affect the cost of the bid.
Evaluation of Quotes: Each quote received shall be evaluated for responsiveness in as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. This RFQ shall be evaluated by the objective criteria described in this RFQ. Quotes submitted must comply with the specification identified in this RFQ. Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, the State will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids. Any exceptions to the content of this RFQ, including the specifications, must be protested in writing to the Division of Purchasing prior to the closing date. The Division of Purchasing may solicit other quotes via email, phone, or other methods as permitted by the Utah Procurement Code or applicable Administrative Rules.
