Clinch County- Recreation Field Rehabilitation

Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the rehabilitation of Homerville/Clinch Co. Recreation Park located in Clinch County until Tuesday June 10, 2025 by 9:00AM, at which time bids will be opened and read. Bid Proposal Package must be delivered to the Clinch County Board of Commissioners, Purchasing Agent.

The meeting will be held at the Clinch County Board of Commissioners¿ Chambers located at 22 Court Square, Suite B, Homerville, Ga 31634. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Jaclyn James, County Administrator at 22 Court Square, Suite B, Homerville, GA 31634. Bids will be opened to the public. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The Clinch County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 9:00am local time, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. This conference will be held at the Commissioners¿ Chambers at 22 Court Square, Suite B, Homerville, Ga 31634. This pre-bid conference is mandatory for all contractors intending to submit a proposal as the prime contractor.

The Scope of Work Includes: Installation of a Tee Ball field, playground, fencing, parking lot, basketball courts, sidewalks, and irrigation repairs.

The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Clinch County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract.

All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the date of Notice to Proceed.
