Description
This Pre-solicitation Notice is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. ALL INFORMATION NEEDED TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS ARE CONTAINED HEREIN. NO ADDITIONAL SOLICITATION PACKAGE OR TECHNICAL INFORMATION WILL BE ISSUED.
Project: Replace Degraded Hot Water Piping Project Number: 583-25-518
Work Location: All work shall be performed within C-2099A on the second level at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC) campus, located at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
Estimated/Target Completion Period: Period of Performance shall be 45 days following Notice to Proceed (NTP). All work shall be performed to minimize outages and disruption to the RLR VAMC, including phasing. Work shall be performed during normal weekend VAMC business hours, which are 6 AM to 5 PM during the weekend. The hot water supply and return system shall be returned to service in one weekend, preferably one workday.
Construction Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000.
NAICS: 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction
Small Business Standard: $45 Million
Set-Aside: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
Site Visits will not be arranged during this phase.
PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Contractor shall replace damaged hot water supply and return lines in a mechanical chase within room C-2099A of the chaplain area as detailed in the Technical Requirements section, project bid drawings and documents, and VHA Master Construction Specifications. This project includes installation of new valves on both the supply and return lines, asbestos abatement for approximately 20 linear feet of pipe insulation and insulating the new hot water piping.
