Pre-bid conference: An optional pre-bid conference will be held for this project for the purpose of familiarizing the bidders with the existing conditions of the inside of each structure to be removed on the project. The pre-bid conference will begin at 10:00 am on January 29, 2026 at 1810 N Greene St., Spokane, WA at the SCC Fire Science Tower. This will be the only opportunity bidders will have to view the inside of the structures prior to the bid opening.
This contract provides for the improvement of US 395/North Spokane Corridor (NSC) by constructing two elevated structures from East Mission Avenue to East Alki Avenue, including prestressed concrete and steel spans, a truss bridge system for the shared-use structure, structure drainage, and associated structure components, a partial interchange at East Trent Avenue with a five-legged roundabout at the NSC ramp termini connecting City of Spokane (COS) streets, continuation of the Children of the Sun Trail shared-use path, utilities including COS water line improvements, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, cement concrete paving, illumination, monotube sign bridges, cantilever sign structures, signing, pavement marking, stormwater management, planting, demolition, traffic control and other work. Involves 268 items and 750 working days. Work class 6 - bridges and structures.
