Old Colony Planning Council (OCPC), along with its partners Plymouth County and Marion Institute, is inviting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to develop a Regional Food System Action Plan for Plymouth County. Specifically, OCPC and its partners seek a consultant to assess the region's local food economy and food system infrastructure, identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, and offer recommendations to enhance local food production and distribution, the broader supply chain, emergency preparedness, and food access and security.
The RFP will be available on September 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (all times EST) and may be obtained by emailing Frank Basler, Plymouth County Administrator, at fbasler@plymouthcountyma.gov .
The deadline for receiving sealed written proposals is 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025. The RFP packet includes the scope of services, qualifications, bid requirements, and a schedule of dates.
OCPC and its partners will review all proposals in accordance with the instructions, conditions, specifications, and other requirements outlined in the RFP. OCPC will award a contract or reject all proposals within 30 days of the proposal opening. OCPC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, technical defects, or irregularities in any or all proposals, and/or accept the proposal that it considers to be in the region's best interest.
