Description

The objective of this procurement is to acquire a high-precision Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printer to support advanced additive manufacturing testing and research with USNA Makerspace Additive Manufacturing Lab. The system will enable advanced research initiatives, hands-on learning, and innovation across engineering, design, and materials science disciplines. By providing access to industrial-grade additive manufacturing technology, the project aims to enrich faculty-led research and offer students experiential learning opportunities aligned with modern manufacturing and prototyping techniques.
