RFP #25-12 - Engineering Services for Select Eastern South Shore Road End Bioretention Systems.
Description:
The Town of Brookhaven is soliciting proposals from qualified firms / proposers to provide
engineering services for Select Eastern South Shore Road End Bioretention Systems in the
hamlets of Center Moriches and East Moriches. Road ends include Watchogue Avenue, Grove
Street and Senix Avenue. The goal of this project is to mitigate vulnerable road ends, minimize localized flooding and improve water quality in Moriches Bay. This will be achieved through various site-dependent mitigation measures identified in the 2022 Town of Brookhaven Climate Smart South Shore Communities Plan. All measures will be implemented within the Town right-of-way and/or on public land.
