Project Description: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Rio Rancho to solicit sealed proposals from qualified consultants to develop a comprehensive Opioid Settlement Strategic Plan governing the expenditure of funds the City continues to receive from the settlement of government-led litigation against companies whose actions contributed to the opioid overdose crisis (herein “Opioid Settlement Funds”). The purpose of this engagement is to ensure responsible stewardship of Opioid Settlement Funds, avoid duplication of services and initiatives, promote meaningful community and stakeholder engagement, and establish transparent and publicly accountable processes for the management and disbursement of funds.
