Request for Information Regarding Investigative Services for Ethics Commission
CITY OF LANCASTER, PA
The City is interested in receiving information from qualified Individuals or firms that wish to provide investigative services to the Ethics Commission.
Under the general direction of the Commission, the Ethics Investigator(s) will perform independent investigations of alleged ethics violations by city officials and employees on a case-by-case basis. Investigations may include misuse of public office for private gain, improper acceptance of gifts, unauthorized use of confidential information, and other violations of the City’s Ethics Code. The Ethics Investigator will gather and review evidence, conduct interviews, maintain confidential case files, prepare investigative reports, and assist in enforcement action(s), related to alleged violations of the City’s Ethics Code.
