RFQ Airport Engineering/Environmental/Planning Services for Lake Placid Airport

The Town of North Elba on behalf of the Lake Placid Airport is soliciting qualifications from engineering consultants for professional engineering/environmental/planning services for its public use airport development projects. Anticipated project assignments are expected to include or be similar to, those listed on the enclosed attachment, as well as any similar projects which may arise during the term. (Attached is a PDF of the ACIP) The Airport is anticipating State and Federal funding for selected projects and will require all work to be completed in conformance with the applicable Federal Aviation Administration and New York State DOT guidelines. Demonstrated experience in this area is essential. The airport intends to identify one general consultant to provide airport engineering, environmental planning and aviation planning services on a continuing basis throughout the selection period (2026-2030). The Airport will rely heavily on this consultant to assist in the overall program management and development of future projects at the airport.
