Summary

The City of Aurora, IL invites you to bid on the anticipated 2026 Sanitary Service Relocation on Gale St, Aurora.

Proposed Improvements: Relocation of 6 sanitary services with a proposed 8" sanitary main, and installation of copper water services via directional drilling and other miscellaneous appurtenances all in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Background

The city will install a new 8" PVC sanitary main starting from the proposed sanitary manhole. Existing sanitary services on both the south and north sides of Gale Street will be separated and reconnected to the new main using 6" PVC pipe. Any lead water services found within the project area will be fully replaced up to the water meter.
