Synopsis:
|
|
This NRFP seeks to accommodate the diverse and evolving needs of ShareIT members, ensuring access to AWS cloud PaaS and IaaS products and relevant professional services. The successful proponent will:
- Serve as a broker, advocate, and advisor for the Participating Members
- Broker a custom AWS cloud procurement agreement/consortium experience
- Exclusive focus on cloud ?nance
- Extensive cloud ?nance knowledge
- Specialized expertise in cloud billing and reporting
- Provide option of a Private Pricing Agreement for the consortium
- Manage complex cloud commitment vehicles
- Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and Private Pricing Agreements
- Support (optional) On Ramp support
- Support AWS Marketplace
- Support level 4 data & account ownership for Participating Members
- Provide proprietary analytics and automation capabilities
- Provide equitable cost savings to all Participating Members under the ShareIT program
- Provide Canadian data residency
- Provide a data egress fee waiver
- High level security capabilities
- Have the capabilities for a private partnership agreement option
- Connection to AWS services and networks including:
- Peering through Cybera/SRNET and CANARIE networks
- Direct connections from individual institutions
- Public IP connections

The Proponent must deliver its Proposal and any amendments in digital format to the Electronic Closing Location. Proposals received by hard copy, facsimile transmission, or email will not be considered.
Proposals are to be prominently marked with the NRFP title and number (see NRFP cover page), with the full legal name and return address of the Proponent, and with the Submission Deadline.
