Pump Station Electrical Improvements

Sealed bids for the construction of pump station control panels will be received at the Oak Bluffs Wastewater Treatment Facility, 17 Pennsylvania Ave, until 1:00 p.m. local time on October 9, and at that place and time will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bidding and award of this Contract shall be required to comply with M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A-44J, and all other applicable Massachusetts General Laws.
The Work consists of the construction of replacement control panels for two duplex pump stations, an OEM generator control panel, a master telemetry panel, and a valve control panel for an effluent disposal site. Bidding Documents prepared by GHD Inc. provide for 240 calendar days for the contractor to achieve substantial completion and 270 calendar days to final payment.

Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to The Town of Oak Bluffs in an amount of 5-percent of Bidder’s maximum Bid price.
The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the Town of Oak Bluffs in accordance with the General Conditions in the Bidding Documents.
Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of M.G.L., Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10 am Tuesday, September 30 at the Oak Bluffs Wastewater Treatment Facility, 17 Pennsylvania Ave. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
