INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Crownpoint Healthcare Facility intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed priced contract with Henry Schein Practice Solutions Inc. 1220 S 630 E STE 100 American Fork, UT 84003 for Help Desk Support to provide EDR License Maintenance and Technical Support Services. This acquisition is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Only one sources is capable of providing the supplies and services required at the level or quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.

The Proposed Contractor; Henry Schein Practice Solutions Inc is the sole distributor/manufacturer of the EDR License Maintenance and Technical Support Services for the Dental Department at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility.

This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Arlynda Largo, Purchasing agent at Arlynda.largo@ihs.gov and Janice Martinez. Email: Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is December 27, 2023, 12pm EST.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 5. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
