Chugger Davis Building Roof Replacement

The State University of New York at SUNY Cortland will receive sealed bids for project number 20230067 titled Chugger Davis Building Roof Replacement until 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Whitaker Hall, Room 207, 4 Pashley Drive, Cortland NY 13045, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. A parking permit should be requested no later than two days prior, by email to Kristi.Hughston@Cortland.edu. Please review project manual campus map for parking location noted in red.

Final date for questions and clarifications is May 27, 2025, by 2:00PM to allow for an addendum response. The last date for addendum response is May 28, 2025.

The earliest start date is November 15, 2025. All work on this Contract is to be completed May 29, 2026.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents.

Accordingly, a deposit check of $45.00, made payable to Syracuse Blueprint, is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk through will be held on May 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Meet at the Stadium Complex, 1096 Lankler Drive, Cortland, NY 13045 with walk through to follow a brief informational meeting. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
