The work of this project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals and performing all work necessary to demolish the existing Lift Station No. 8 CMU building and dry/wet well, and construct the new Lift Station No. 8 with precast concrete wet well, pumps, electrical, instrumentation, piping, manholes, concrete sidewalks, concrete driveway, standby generator, approximately 90 linear feet of gravity sanitary sewer, 800 linear feet of 6-inch PVC force main, two dog-house storm structures, and cured-in-place lining of 1,183 linear feet of 24-inch RCP storm sewer pipe for service in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared therefor by Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. and titled:

Each bid must contain either evidence of the Bidder’s qualifications to do business in the area where the projects are located or covenant to obtain such qualifications prior to award of Contract.
To demonstrate his qualifications to perform the Work, each bidder shall submit with his Bid written evidence as to the financial status, previous successful contractual and technical experience in similar work including references, description, and volume of present commitments, evidence of possession of, or covenant to obtain prior to award of Contract, valid state, county, and local licenses covering all operations and all areas of political jurisdiction involved in the Work of this project and such other data as may be requested by the CITY. No bidder/company will be issued a contract for the work, who in the past seven (7) years has filed for bankruptcy personally or has been an owner/officer or principal of a firm, which has filed bankruptcy in the past seven (7) years.
The CONTRACTOR must be able to exhibit to the City of Jacksonville Beach that he can perform a minimum of 30% of the total contract work with their own labor work force.
