B -29 DOC

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES

The 97 Air Mobility Wing requires Doc's Friends Inc to perform Aerial Performance Display at Altus AFB, OK 73523.

The 97 Contracting Squadron intends to make award to Commemorative Airforce (CAGE 7TY94). The B-29 "Doc" is deeply rooted with the Altus community and local base populous. As they are based out of Wichita, KS, their

travel costs are greatly reduced as compared to other WWII warbird/bomber platforms across the US. Most importantly, their

outstanding safety record, longstanding success within the air show industry and their experience make the B-29 "Doc" highly

and uniquely qualified to perform at the 2025 Altus airshow.

The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.

Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.

A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement.

Capability statements are due on 28 November 2024 by 5:00pm CST. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to cole.santee@us.af.mil and katharine.lewis.1@us.af.mil. Capability statements and supporting documentation provided after the due date listed above will not be reviewed.
