General Notice

McDuffie County, Georgia (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Fire Station Interior Upfit

2025-1101

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the McDuffie County Administration Building located at 210 Railroad Street, Second Floor until Friday November 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be privately opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

McDuffie County, Georgia is considering interior upfits to an existing fire station. Project includes work within an existing fire station to upfit 1200 square feet of interior space to serve as the residential quarters of the fire station. Most of the interior framing and all interior finishings and equipment were excluded from the original construction of the fire station. Existing fire station is a pre-engineered metal building. Wall section within the project limits is proposed to be metal stud with sound attenuation batt insulation and drywall. Plumbing and electrical are roughed in. Mechanical is roughed in where walls are complete. Record drawings are available for review.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Fire Station Interior Upfit 2025-1101

Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $50,000.00-$100,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 90 days.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on November 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at 5130 Lincolnton Hwy, NE, Thomson, GA 30824. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory.
