Description : The City of McAllen is soliciting proposals for to provide supplemental ancillary plans and section 125 administration to employees at an economical value.

Deadline: Electronic Requests for Proposal(s) (RFP’s) addressed to Mr. Isaac Tawil, City Manager, City of McAllen, will be received until Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST). Statements of Qualifications are only to be submitted electronically through the City of McAllen’s bidding portal: https://mcallen.procureware.com , on or before the aforementioned date and time. Original, hard copy and/or late submittals shall not be accepted.

The contents of the proposals shall be kept confidential until the City Commission meeting. After the contracts are awarded all proposals shall be available for inspection. Please label any trade secrets or confidential information to avoid public disclosure. Proposal negotiations may be necessary with the proposer presenting the most advantageous proposal.

Responses are to be submitted electronically only. Once back in the portal, click on the “ Bid” tab, then click on the appropriate project number. You may then proceed to the “ Documents” tab to download the complete solicitation document. Once you have read the Request for Proposal solicitation document and are ready to submit your response, click on the “Response” tab and upload your Proposal. Proposal solicitation documents shall not be mailed, e-mailed nor provided in person; interested concerns must download information from the website.

Potential Respondents are asked to post their questions on our bidding portal under the tab labeled “Clarifications” under the relative project number.

The City of McAllen reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities and to accept the proposal to be the best and most advantageous to the City, and hold the responses for a period of ninety ( 90) days without taking action. Be advised that if your company is contemplating on responding to this project, you must register in our portal so that any changes/additions via Addendum form can be forwarded to your company
