Description: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking proposals for the administration of the Boreas Ponds Accessible Water Access Site. The proposed IFB for administering the Region 5 Ray Brook – Boreas Ponds Water Accessibility Site – Town of North Hudson, Essex County NY. This Contract is for the supply of all the materials needed to implement this project, and the construction, completion and restoration of the project and site – a distance total of about 700’ with a 6’wide corridor plus variations in steep areas and 6” compacted stone to pass accessibility standards. Tree removal to specification; motorized equipment can be used on roadway but no earth moving equipment off the roadway so sections will be built by hand. Motorized equipment like chainsaws, drills, generators, and vibratory compactors may be used in clearing the corridor, site work, and to compact the surfacing materials. Motorized vehicles like mini excavators, mini skid-steers, or tracked material haulers may not be used outside of the Boreas Roadbed. Proposers shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
