Airfield Guidance Sign & NAVAID Upgrades

The proposed project includes replacing existing airfield signage and navigation aid equipment distributed across the airfield. Replacement equipment includes the Runway 15 PAPI (4 box, airport owned and operated), Runway 15 REIL, rotating beacon (located on top of the ATCT cab), 53 airfield taxiway guidance signs, and two supplemental wind cones. Generally, only equipment will be replaced and the existing foundations, power cables, conduit will remain as-is. Isolation transformers will be replaced along with L-823 connectors and secondary power extension cord sets. Several new and modified airfield guidance signs will require new or extended concrete foundations. All equipment will generally be replaced with modern LED equipment of similar characteristics (height, dimensions, etc.).
