Overnight CDL Tractor Trailer Drivers

Approximately 6 times per year, CCPC may require a contracted vendor to provide service in the western and southwest portion of New York State. This requires the vendor to supply a tractor with single pole electrical connector (for tail-gate purposes) capable of puling a full-size trailer with a combined weight of 80,000 pounds and a driver. The trailer will be a pre-loaded NYS OMH owned refrigerated trailer. The route will commence on Wednesday morning at 4AM and typically ends very late afternoon on Thursday. Vendor will be provided with no less than 2 business days’ notice of the need for this service

The Cook Chill Production Center (CCPC) is operated by the NYS (New York State) Office of Mental Health (OMH). CCPC serves OMH facilities and other NYS and federal agencies, and not-for-profit groups throughout the state.

The cook chill system is a way of preparing large quantities of food using a time/temperature process that provides an extended shelf life. The CCPC offers over 150 items and produces 15,000 pounds of food daily.
Refrigerated trucks deliver these fully prepared wholesome foods to dozens of facilities from Buffalo to Long Island.
