DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project, which is located in Camden County, Georgia and Nassau County, Florida, will be divided into a base and one option. Work associated with the subject requirement consists of a Base and one Option. Base project work involves maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel Cut-1N through Range-E. The excavated material will be distributed among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Placement Area (P/A-N), and the North Beach Placement Area (P/A-NB). Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, beach tilling, screening, and sea turtle and sturgeon trawling. Option A includes tilling and escarpment removal at Fort Clinch Placement Area (P/A-F) beach portion only, not groins area.

The Small Business Standard is $37 million
The Magnitude of construction is $10,000,000.00 - $25,000,000.00.
This project will have an estimated period of performance of 185 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP), including 60 calendar days to commence work.
The total completion time of 185 calendar days includes the following:
180 Calendar days for the BASE (Incl. Commencement & Demob)
5 Calendar Days for OPTION A to be performed concurrently with the base.

NOTE: U.S. COAST GUARD CERTIFIED DREDGE IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK.
