Project Description: The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), requests Statements of Qualifications, with the goal of hiring for the following key staff:
1 full time Resident Engineer, 3 full time Construction Inspectors, ½ time Change Order/Scheduling specialist,1 full time Office Engineer/Contract Admin, ¼ time Arborist, ¼ part time Landscape Architect and 1 part time Outreach support to provide Construction Management (CM) services on the NE 125th & NE 130th Mobility and Safety project, as part of the overall CM team managing the construction contract for the project.
NE 125th & NE 130th Mobility and Safety
The NE 125th & NE 130th Mobility and Safety Project will establish a new multimodal corridor to connect light rail riders to the future NE 130th St light rail station by implementing transit reliability, safety, access, bus stop amenities, and pedestrian and bicycle improvements. The station is currently scheduled to open in 2026. The project area includes NE 130th St from approximately 1st Ave NE to 5th Ave NE including the NE 130th St I-5 overpass, Roosevelt Way NE from 130th St to 10th Ave NE, and NE 125th St from 10th Ave NE to Lake City Way NE. Construction Contract Information
• Estimated construction contract value: $12 million
• Estimated pre-construction services (contract document review): April 2025
• Estimated construction duration: June 2025 – May 2026
• Estimated construction closeout: June 2026 – October 2026
Work will be accomplished in accordance with the FTA reviewed project Plans and Specifications advertised for construction.
