LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Forrest City is accepting bids for the supply of asphalt cement hot mix (Type II) surface course and/or placement of asphalt cement hot mix (Type II) surface course on designated streets. The City of Forrest City intends to lay approximately 4,000 (+ or -) tons of compacted asphalt 2 inches thick and (+ or -) 30,000 Sy of cold milling asphalt. Bidder must supply Tack Oil.
Specifications may be picked up between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at City Hall, 225 N. Washington, Forrest City, Arkansas.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the Office of the Mayor, 225 N. Washington, Forrest City, Arkansas by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All bids must be sealed and clearly marked “ASPHALT BID.”
The City of Forrest City reserves he right to reject any or all bids.
