ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for construction of the City of Ruleville, MS 2025 Pump Station Improvement Project CDBG Project No.
1139-23-323-PF-01, will be received by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ruleville, MS at the office
of the City Hall, 200 E. Floyce St., Ruleville, MS 38771, until 10:00 o’clock AM, Central Time, on July 14, 2026, and
then at said time and place publicly opened and read aloud.
Bidding Documents may examine free of charge at Eley|McPherson, PA, 306 Third Street, Cleveland, MS 38732 and
at City Hall, 200 E. Floyce St., Ruleville, MS 38771, or participating plan rooms. Bidding Documents may be
purchased at www.eleymcphersonplans.com. Plan holders will be required to have a valid email address and must
purchase the Bidding Documents in order to be eligible to submit a Bid. Bids may be submitted in person or by mail.
For delivery in person or by mail, the Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside
with the following: Bid for the City of Ruleville, MS 2025 Pump Station Improvement Project CDBG Project No. 1139-
23-323-PF-01 to be opened on July 14, 2026, and addressed to City of Ruleville, MS, 200 E. Floyce St., Ruleville, MS
38771. In addition, the envelope shall list the bidders Company Name, address and applicable state and local license
and registration numbers of the bidder. The Owner and Engineer assume no responsibility for the premature
opening of any bid envelope which is not properly marked.
Bidders must be properly licensed by the MS State Board of Contractors for the type of Work required for this
project. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit,
with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and
minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, including Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O.
11246. Title VI Minority Bidders are encouraged to bid.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
