Project: 578-23-013 Abatement Task Order D
Location: Edwards Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, Hines, IL

3rd Pre-Bid Site Visit & Exploratory Demolition Date: December 4, 2025
Time: 8am-12pm CST
Location: Bldg 2 Entrance Lobby
Hines will be offering another site visit opportunity for Project 578-23-013 Abatement Task Order D. This site visit will afford prospective contractors the opportunity to perform exploratory demolition. Contractors are encouraged to bring ladders, tools, flashlights, etc. as none will be provided by the VA. Excluded from the exploratory demolition is Building 1 Room C130 and Building 200 rooms 1571 and 1572. These rooms may be viewed again but exploratory demolition shall not be allowed in these rooms, as they fall under a current construction project.
RFI's are due December 11, 2025.
Bid Due Date has been changed to 10:00 am CST on January 7, 2026.
