Beaufort County is soliciting qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide architectural and engineering (A/E) design services for the new Pritchardville / Okatie Library Branch.
Important: This RFQ is for design services only. Construction and design-build services are not included in this solicitation.
Background
The Pritchardville / Okatie Library Branch is a planned 15,000–20,000 square foot public library intended to serve the rapidly growing southern region of Beaufort County, including Bluffton, Pritchardville, and Okatie.
- Site Size: 9.83 acres
- Initial Service Population: 40,000+ residents
- Council Approval: January 8, 2023
This project has been supported through long-term planning initiatives, including:
- Beaufort County Capital Improvement Program (since 2010)
- 2040 Comprehensive Plan
- Beaufort County Library Strategic Plan
