1. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason that no other supplies or services can be used:

The Pronk test equipment is proprietary technology with proprietary software to include all bundled kits of the products listed above such as our BMET Pack ADV and BMET Pack PRO. It also includes the Pronk Mobilize Wireless solution that incorporates the Mobilize app designed exclusively for biomedical engineers to automate the testing of medical devices and generate electronic reports. This equipment is designed to be compact and ensure all needed test equipment is within immediate reach of the technician, allowing for streamlined day-to-day operations.

The backpack will allow customizable automated testing with detailed electronic reports, exporting the test reports to the medical equipment’s database for record-keeping, eliminating human error. This unit allows maximum portability and allows BioMed to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. The Pronk Mobilize solution provides wireless communications to a suite of apps for remote control of Vital Signs Simulations, IV Pump, and Safety Analyzer from your smart device. Customizable automated testing with detailed electronic reports. Consolidate everything with real-time measurement capture, checklists, detailed reports, barcode scanners, wireless PM sticker printing, DUT image capture, 1000 records storage, and optional CMMS connectivity.

1. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted:

FAR Part 10 was followed when conducting market research. Utilizing NAICS Code 334515 and the keywords "Pronk BMET Pack," market research was conducted with GSA eLibray, FPDS, and SBA DSBS.

A search in GSA eLibrary using the keyword uncovered vendors.

A search in FPDS using the keywords discovered 1 vendor (Pronk) with multiple

awards.

A search in SBA DSBS using the keywords and NAICS code 0 vendors recovered.

A search of the equipment shows that the sole manufacturer which is Pronk Technologies is also a Small Business. The market research also indicates that this equipment can only be supplied by Pronk Technologies. Pronk Technologies has provided a Sole Source Letter, please refer to the P03 Sole Source Letter.
