Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.



Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0930 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Installation of Panel Wall to Bio Safety Level (BSL) 2 Standards. The purpose of this project is to modify Room 101B in Bldg. 55 to create a functional BSL‑2 quarantine entry consisting of two sealed anterooms. These modifications enhance containment of invasive insect research, reduce risk of accidental release, and improve operational safety and compliance with USDA quarantine protocols.



This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45.0M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
