THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes to gather input on potential solutions, technologies, and pricing to shape any future solicitation; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense.

The Uniformed Services University (USU) is issuing this RFI to conduct market research for its Academic Systems Modernization Initiative. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information from industry regarding currently available solutions, integration capabilities, and best practices for creating a modern, interconnected academic technology ecosystem.

USU is exploring strategies ranging from a single, comprehensive platform to an ecosystem of integrated "best-value" solutions. This initiative encompasses several key areas:

  1. Core Student Information System (SIS)

  2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  3. Specialized Applicant Portals

  4. Transfer Evaluation Services

  5. Digital Transcript Processing

  6. Clinical Rotation Management
