FY25-29 STRATEGIC TRENDS RESEARCH INITIATIVE BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Effective 4 September 2025, the FY25-29 Strategic Trends Research Initiative Broad Agency Announcement, HDTRA-24-S-0003, is being placed on an administrative pause. During this period, we are unable to accept any new white paper or proposal submissions. All submissions received prior to 4 September 2025 will be queued for processing in accordance with the BAA. This universal action is responsive to an order to suspend certain operations pending further guidance from the Department of Defense (DOD) on participation in research and think tank engagements. We are also impacted by a DoD reorganization order focused on reducing manpower and gaining efficiencies, which the Defense Threat Reduction Agency is complying with. This pause will remain in effect until further notice. Questions and/or concerns regarding this administrative pause can be submitted to our Contracting Officer, Ms. Christina Clark, or to the program manager/contracting officer representative assigned to your current contract.
