Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed Priced Delivery Order N0001925F0017 under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001922G0006 to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, CA, for the procurement of -25 Air Vehicle and Ground Control Station (GCS) spares necessary for the successful operational capability of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Expeditionary (MUX) Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) MQ-9 -25 Reaper air vehicles. This order was awarded to GA-ASI in the amount of $34,870,790.



This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements.” A determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 21-0382 – redacted version attached to this announcement.
