Description

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) is requesting a proposal for removal and replacement of roofing systems; one low roof and one high bay roof, at one existing building. The project is located on the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) Site, adjacent to the city of Batavia, Illinois. The project is in DuPage County, located on West Batavia Road, and East of Receiving Road. Refer to sheet G-01 of drawing set for vicinity map.



The Subcontractor shall furnish all required supervision, labor materials, tools, plant, and appurtenances necessary to perform diligently and fully all work as described in the drawings and technical specifications. All work includes transportation, overhead, bonding costs, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision as required to construct the project described in the drawings and technical specifications.





Work will include:



A. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment required to remove and dispose of existing roofing and insulation down to bare roof decking. Replace with new SBS Asphalt 4CID CR G roofing systems, including miscellaneous associated work as described in the drawing set "10-4-101_Site 40 LLRW_CCR_RoofReplacement_200321.pdf”; ISD project number 10-4-101; dated 09/13/24.



B. Provide all associated work including but not limited to relocation and reinstallation of existing roof equipment; removal and replacement of all roofing trim, fascia, gravel stops and coping.



C. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment required for new ballasted roof edge railing system as described in the drawing set.





The Subcontractor shall perform all work required to complete the construction work in accordance with the drawings and/or specifications
