Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment for performing modifications to the DISTRICT’S Keystone 345kV substation located near Ogallala, Nebraska in accordance with the Contract drawings and Construction Standards shown on drawing index 460032085 and included in ATTACHMENT B. The work includes removal / installation of foundations, grounding, conduit, removal / installation of switches, PCB, reactors, installing jumpers, cable work, and spreading rock at the Keystone 345kV Substation.

SITE VISIT:

The DISTRICT will conduct a non-mandatory field visit on June 23, 2026, at 10:00 am, MDT. Bidders need to pre-register if you plan to attend the non-mandatory field visit, please email Greg Trofholz at gatrofh@nppd.com, Matt Doherty at mmdoher@nppd.com and Chad Gaedeke at cpgaede@nppd.com by June 18, 2026.

A non-mandatory pre bid Microsoft Teams meeting for prospective Bidders will be held on June 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CDT. The purpose of the teleconference will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating on the teleconference, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this teleconference. If you plan to participate in the pre-bid teleconference, call in information can be found on the ProcureWare website at www.nppd.com under Bids & Contracts.
