The Lunenburg County Regional Emergency Management Organization (Lunenburg REMO)
supports the District of Lunenburg, the Municipality of Chester, and the Towns of Bridgewater, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg in coordinating effective emergency management through hazard mitigation, comprehensive planning and preparedness, and unified response and recovery efforts.
As the host organization of Lunenburg REMO, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg
(referred to as “MODL” or “Municipality”) is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a
customized Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) training program. While the ECC operates in within the framework of the Incident Command System (ICS) structure, the standard ICS position checklists are designed for on-scene response and require adaptation to fit the needs of a municipal ECC environment with multiple municipal units.
