    The City of Durham’s Housing & Neighborhood Services Department is soliciting applications from eligible entities for federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support housing and community development activities that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income individuals, households, and areas. Up to $4,900,000.00 is available through the following HUD programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME).
    Additionally, a HOME Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) qualification application is available for entities seeking CHDO-designation to access CHDO set-aside funding.
    Applications are due on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET and are to be submitted via email to HousingandNeighborhoodServices@DurhamNC.Gov.
