Scope of Services
The intent of this solicitation is to select a qualified Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for asphalt manufacturing, milling, and resurfacing of County-maintained roadways and properties on an as-needed basis. The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for both the production and installation of asphalt. The Contractor shall manufacture and furnish FDOT-approved asphalt mixes, provide certified personnel for installation, perform on-site QC testing and laboratory testing, furnish FDOT-approved paving equipment, and maintain a testing facility for all required FDOT tests. The exact location and limits of work will be designated by the Osceola County Project Manager for each project. The Contractor must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the placement of FDOT-approved bituminous asphaltic materials and must have the ability to manufacture asphalt on an as-needed basis.
