Solicitation Summary
The Office of Planning and Preliminary Engineering’s (OPPE) Data Services Division (DSD) has migrate the road inventory and HPMS data from a tabular database into a spatial data environment, which uses Esri's Roads and Highways to maintain the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration Linear Referencing System (LRS) and associated data events to meet HPMS and MAP-21 reporting requirements. The resulting change to the structure of the data from tabular data to a spatial format will require that all existing data validations and various summary reports be rewritten to run against the new spatial data format.
