Security System Consultant Services for 2026 Upgrade Project - Request for Proposals (RFP) NEW!

West Chester Township (the “Township”) invites proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide an assessment of current hardware and devices and provide a recommendation of software and hardware installation of upgraded/new security systems across all West Chester Township buildings to enhance safety, improve threat detection and response capabilities, and ensure reliable, modern protection for employees, residents, and visitors. The project will replace outdated equipment, integrate advanced access control and surveillance technologies, and establish consistent security standards across facilities while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and minimizing operational disruptions. The service and performance requirements are described in the Scope of Services.

Following the assessment, the Township will look to move forward with the installation of new technology in 2027.  It is the intent of this scope to help identify opportunities for enhancements within the Township’s facilities and to create a budget and project documents for the bidding in 2027.
