Project Description: The Little Miami Interceptor regulator structure and 72” sluice gate are over 80 years old, and the gate is in poor condition. The gate has corroded and does not seal properly. Not only is this a safety issue but also limits the ability to manage system hydraulics during high-flow conditions. This increases the risk of sewer overflows and flooding in low-lying areas near the Little Miami WWTP. The project is to address the gate condition, operation issues, and regulator chamber safety concerns.
