This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS announcement; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. UMSB Contracting has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (UAS) FOR USACE AVIATION PROGRAM OFFICE TRAINING FLEET.
The proposed contract is expected to be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The purpose of this announcement and the attached Draft Scope of Work (SOW) is to gather industry comments, suggestions, or questions before the official release of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this action is 334511 – Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Aviation Program Office is responsible for conducting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Basic Qualification training for USACE personnel nationwide. This training ensures that operators receive instruction on standardized equipment matching current operational configurations utilized in the field, supporting safe, effective, and standardized training operations. To update and sustain readiness, the USACE Aviation Program Office requires the procurement of five (5) Skydio X10 UAS, five (5) Skydio 3D Scan licenses, and ten (10) additional Skydio 150W batteries.
