Bid Description:
The Town of Chelsea is accepting bids for a paving project on Upper Village Rd.
Section 1, level & overlay (base bid): From Baraw Hill Rd extending approximately 3,710 ft to the end of existing pavement; level and overlay existing pavement; minimum pavement depth is 2”. Match existing roadway width. (see attached sketch for pavement layout at intersection of Upper Village Rd. Washington Turnpike).
Section 2, full depth (add alternate): From the end of the existing pavement approximately 2,665ft to the intersection of S. Washington Rd and Corinth Rd. (see attached sketch for pavement layout at intersection). Grade and compact existing gravel roadway; place two, 2” lifts at 22ft wide. Section 1 is base-bid, Section 2 is add-alternate.
