1.1 Purpose of Procurement
This Request for Qualified Contractors (RFQC) is issued to establish a pre-qualified pool of strategic partners capable of driving the State of Georgia's enterprise modernization and "Cloud-First" initiatives. This eRFQC is being conducted by the Georgia Technology Authority, (hereinafter, "GTA"). The objective is to secure high specialized engineering expertise and technical capabilities to support complex, lifecycle-managed Information Technology Investment projects. GTA seeks vendors with demonstrated proficiency in the following disciplines:
Enterprise Cloud Architecture (Strategy for Multi-Cloud & Hybrid environments)
Advanced Cloud Migration (Including Cloud-to-Cloud portability and Re-platforming)
Hybrid Environment Optimization (Interoperability, Latency Management, and Unified Control)
DevSecOps Engineering (CI/CD Automation and Infrastructure as Code)
AI & Machine Learning Engineering (Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, and Responsible AI Governance).
Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) (Cost Optimization and Resource Efficiency)
Data Strategy & Engineering (Modernization, Migtration, and Governance)
This RFQC is intended to identify multiple responsible, qualified contractors who exceed the technical and governance requirements contained in Section 6.6. Selection and Award. Successful awardees will be eligible to compete for future project-specific task orders and future engagements to suppot the State's "Cloud-First" manadate and evolving technology landscape.
