Notice on intent to Sole Source- Marine Systems Inc

General Supplies and Services (GSS), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a Sole Source purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(i), Limiting Sources for Progress Rail/Electro-Motive (EMD). GSS anticpates award of a purchase order on a sole source basis to Marine Systems Inc for EMD generators. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, any information received from any organization, before 4:00 PM EST., Friday December 12, that believes it can meet this requirement will be considered by the Government for a competitive procurement action. Information in response to this notice may be sent to Nancy Seale, Contracting Officer at nancy.seale@gsa.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Telephonic questions or requests are will not be accepted.
