ITB 2026-09, Restoration of the Historic Newberry Power Plant Phase I (Construction)

The City of Newberry, Florida (“Owner”) is inviting Bidders to electronically submit sealed bids for ITB 2026-09, Restoration of the Historic Newberry Power Plant Phase I (Construction). Restoration of the Historic Newberry Power Plant Phase 1 in accordance with the specifications and the accompanying drawings. This project is sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Historical Resources and the State of Florida. All project work shall be in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines available online www.nps.gov/tps/standards.htm.

Bids must be submitted by 2:00 PM EST, Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit will be held in-person Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.

Questions should be submitted to the Owner through Bid Express only. Questions will be accepted through Thursday, May 28, 2026, 6:00 PM EST.

Bids will be opened and read aloud at a virtual Public Bid Opening on Tuesday June 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. All members of the public may attend the Public Bid Opening Workshop. Attendees may join by accessing the link below at the stated date and time:
