WETHERSFIELD COVE PARKING LOT ENTRANCE IMPROVMENTS

The intent of this bid solicitation is for the Town of Wethersfield to retain a contractor to complete improvements at the entrance of the parking lot for Wethersfield Cove located at the north end of Main Street, which includes removing the concrete barriers and extending the existing grass island, relocating the attendant’s shed to the new island to facilitate driver interactions, removal and replacement of existing bituminous concrete pavement, and installation of reclaimed granite curbing. Other improvements include the planting of three new trees, construction of a brownstone paver pad for the shed, installation of a mounted decorative streetlight fixture and video camera system on an existing utility pole and associated electric conduit.
