ADVERTISEMENT TO BID Emergency Generator for Overnight Homeless Shelter at Otterbein United Methodist Church for Lancaster Redevelopment Fund, Inc. Sealed bids for Emergency Generator for Overnight Homeless Shelter at Otterbein United Methodist Church located at 20 East Clay Street, Lancaster, PA 17602, will be received and opened publicly by Lancaster Redevelopment Fund, Inc.at 28 Penn Square, Suite 200, Lancaster, PA 17603, on November 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. local time. Construction Documents including Drawings and Project Manuals with Specifications produced by the office of Marotta Main Architects, 214 North Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-393-3211, will be available after October 22, 2024, in an electronic format (Portable Document Format) from the architect’s office. The Bid Documents, in pdf format, may be obtained by prospective bidders by contacting Camryn Bryan, Project Administrator, at cdb@marottamain.com . Prospective bidders will be emailed a Sharefile website access link to access the Construction Documents. Bids will be received for the following contracts: TYPE OF CONTRACT Electrical Construction BID SECURITY REQUIRED 10% of Bid Notice is hereby given to bidders that construction of this project is being funded, in part, by a federal grant provided to Lancaster County from the U.S Dept of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to the Davis Bacon Act of March 3, 1931, as amended. Wages must be paid by contractors according to the U. S. Department’s Wage Decision included in the specifications. All bidders must also comply with the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; the Executive Order of 11246 or any other order which prohibits discrimination in employment. All bidders are advised that an executed Attachment B from the Section 3 Action Plan included in the Federal Related Documents Section in the specifications must be submitted or the bid will be rejected as non-responsive. Qualified Minority and Women Owned Businesses (MBE/WBE) are encouraged to respond to this Invitation to Bid. The Lancaster Redevelopment Fund, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities and bid securities, as may be deemed to be in its best interests.
